COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information


In light of the on-going and quickening COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, we have come to the decision to close our walk-in clinics and routine GP appointments including sexual health.

Please DO NOT attend the medical centre for appointments. From Monday 16th March 2020, if you have a pre-booked appointment we will contact you. If you feel you need medical attention/advice, please phone between 9am - 11am and 2pm - 4pm for routine matters. A GP will call you back and arrange appropriate care. 

We are also suspending online booking at this time.

Which areas are affected by coronavirus?

Symptoms include: flu-like illness, high temperature, sore throat/cough, chest tightness, shortness of breath.

The identified areas of risk for people who may have COVID19 are indentified in two categories. If you have been visiting or travelling to any of these areas please read below.

Category 1 Areas:

  • Iran
  • Daegu or Cheongdo regions of South Korea
  • Any of the following towns of Northern Italy; Bertonico, Casalpusterlengo, Castelgerundo, Castglione D'Adda, Codogno

      If you have symptoms please DO NOT visit your GP or Hospital. Phone your GP Practice or phone 111. 

      Even if you have no symptoms and have been to a Category 1 area, please self-isolate for 14 days.

      Category 2 Areas:

      • Cambodia
      • China
      • Hong Kong
      • Northern Italy (in areas not in Category 1)
      • Japan
      • Laos
      • Macau
      • Maylasia
      • Myanmar
      • South Korea (Republic of Korea - areas not in Category 1)
      • Singapore
      • Taiwan
      • Thailand
      • Vietnam

      If you have symptoms and you have come back from a Category 2 country, please DO NOT come into your GP Practice but phone or call 111 to speak to someone.

      If you have no symptoms and have returned from a Category 2 area, you are free to return to normal day-to-day activities. If you become unwell however, please self-isolate and phone your GP or 111.
